Summer in Thredbo
The Thredbo Jazz Festival is much more than a music festival. It is a full Autumn Alpine Holiday with plenty to see and do. Check out the extra curricular activities.
- Ride the Kosciuszko Express Chairlift (free on your festival pass) and hike to Mt Kosciuszko for some morning exercise before settling in at the Alpine Hotel Poolside for a well-earned beer and more Jazz than you can shake a hiking pole at.
- Explore Thredbo’s other hiking trails or have a round of golf or explore the beautiful Thredbo Valley.
- Too much action? Take a little retail therapy in Thredbo’s boutiques or cosy up for a coffee in one of Thredbo’s cafes before the festival kicks into gear.
And here’s a tip… Make sure you are in Thredbo for Sunday night when the Jam sessions kick off with musicians sitting in and building to frenzied finale to an awesome weekend.
